Elizabeth Jorlyn Hall Davis

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at Circle Hill Baptist Church, Sneads, FL, with Rev. John Holley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 on Thursday and at Circle Hill Baptist Church from 10-11 on Friday prior to service time.

Mrs. Davis was born August 3, 1940 in Malone, Florida to Woodrow and Joyce Hall, the 4th of 8 children. She was a 1958 graduate of Malone High School. She was a resident of Houston County since 1970 and was employed with Hall’s Wholesale Florist and Wal-Mart for several years.

Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Dudley James Hall.

She is survived by her children, Paul Abel, Jr. (Cindy) of Sneads, FL, Denise Beadle (Rob) of Dothan and Cheryl M. Thompson of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Chris Abel (Pati), Victoria Magoun, Creighton Magoun (Emily), Danielle Magoun, Beth Goodon (Josh), Gideon Hixon (Nikki), Ethan Dailey and Cassidy Beckett; great-grandchildren, Faith Abel, Samantha Magoun, Jonathan Magoun and Alyson Goodon; sisters, Jessie Fay Tedder, Mary Joyce Watkins, Barbara Jean Beck (Bill) and Catherine Kassler (Joe); brothers, Lee Hudson Hall (Carol) and Robert Lawson Hall (Josie) and many nieces and nephews.
