Benjamin D. Kelley

Mr. Ben D. Kelley, age 61, of Winston, GA passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014. He was born November 15, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Kelley was a Building Engineer and held a license in HVAC. He retired from Delta Airlines Inc. with greater than 20 years of service. He also worked for Aircond in the Metro area. In his spare time, Ben enjoyed collecting telephone insulators, traveling and gardening. Ben also was a certified Scuba diver and an accomplished artist. He also graduated from Woodward Academy, formerly known as Georgia Military Academy.

Mr. Kelley is preceded in death by his father; Dewey Kelley.

Mr. Kelley is survived by his mother: Janette Hutcheson Kelley, his wife: Sabine, his daughter: Erica and husband Kyle Flory, sons: Jason Varnadoe, John and wife Angela Varnadoe. Four grandchildren: Sean and Bethany Flory, Maxwell and Pierce Varnadoe. A brother: Chip Kelley and a sister: Jan K. and husband Larry Anderson.

Mr. Kelley was cremated per his wishes and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 27, 2014, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A celebration of his life will follow at 4:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel. Pastor Vicki Smith will officiate.
