Bernadette Nicole Thompson

Mrs. Bernadette Nicole Thompson, age 93, of Douglasville, Georgia was called home to Heaven on Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was born on February 8, 1928 in Metz, France. Bernadette spent most of her early life in France where she met the love of her life, Roy. Roy nicknamed her “Bunny” and lovingly referred to her by that name for many years. After moving to Douglasville 42 years ago, she became employed with Delta where she was a cabin service attendant. Bernadette loved butterflies and had a vast collection of different things that were butterfly related. A profound woman of Faith, she was once a member of St. Paul Methodist Church and later attended service with her son at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Joe Thompson; and her granddaughter, Kaylyn.

She is survived by her children, Rainy R. Thompson (Brenda), Rick R. Thompson (Barbara), and Linda Price (Steve); her grandchildren, Matthew Thompson, Jodi Thompson, Traci Thompson, and Kyle Price (Brittany); and great-grandchildren, Benjamin Thompson, Baylee Price, Kyrstin Price, and Hunter Price.

The family will gather for a graveside service on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 614 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281, with Pastor Larry Tucker officiating.
