Mrs. Betty Carol Richardson, age 78, of Douglasville, GA passed away October 28, 2017. She was born September 14, 1939 in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Richardson was a very social person. She loved being with her family and friends and making them laugh. She had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. Betty is preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Betty Wyatt as well as sister Sylvia Brothers. She is survived by her step-father J.W. Daniels; son Jeff (Kelly) Richardson; daughters Lynn (Chuck) Sauls and Jennifer (Tyrone Smith) Richardson; grandchildren Thomas Sauls, Ozbourne Hunley, Valerie Richardson and Jeffery Richardson; great-granddaughter Opal Richardson as well as many friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 10 o’clock am until 2 o’clock pm. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm at Holly Hill Memorial Garden.
