Beverly Rustin

Mrs. Beverly Durand Rustin, age 76, of Douglasville, GA passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016. She was born October 29, 1939 in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Rustin loved her cat “Frisky”, working in the yard and planting flowers. She was a member at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School. Beverly retired from the federal government after serving with many different agencies over the years, with her most recent position as Budget and Contract Administrator with the U. S. Small Business Administration.

Preceding her death are her parents, Howard and Lois Durand as well as her brother, Larry Durand.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Rustin, Sr.; sons Ralph Rustin, Jr. and Jeff Rustin; brother Jerry Durand; sisters Carol Case and Ann Gulledge as well as several nephews, nieces and other family members.

The family will receive friends at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church, 4979 GA-5, Douglasville, GA 30135 on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 11 until 1 o’clock pm. A service will follow at 1 o’clock Saturday, May 21, 2016 with interment at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Josh Buice will officiate.
