Brenda Dobbins

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Brenda Gail Dobbins, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who entered into rest on February 26 at the age of 75. A resident of Douglasville, she lived a life that reflected her deep and unwavering Christian faith.

Mrs. Dobbins was a devoted member of Bible Church of God in Union City, where she was very active in the church community. She faithfully served the Lord and found great joy in going to church. Her love for worship and praise was evident to all who knew her, and her presence in the church family will be deeply missed.

A very Christian lady in every sense of the word, Mrs. Dobbins lived her faith daily by offering kindness, encouragement, and a warm smile to everyone she met. She treasured the time she spent with her family and held them close to her heart. She also lovingly considered her church brothers and sisters as family, forming bonds that will endure beyond her passing.Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

Mrs. Dobbins is survived by her children, James Jenkins, Sandra Tarrant and Linda (Dave) Green; siblings, Glenda Parker, Delmas (Doreen) Hall, Lloyd (Pamela) Hall and Jerry Hall; grandchildren, Crystal Jenkins, Matthew (Autumn) Howard, Brittanie Power, Samantha (Jesse) Adams, Suzanne Cassell, Marie Owens, Bradley Howard, Aaron Howard, Johnathan Jenkins as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 32 years, Ross Dobbins in 2008; daughter, Debbie Cassell; grandson, Zachary Tarrant and parents, John Hall and Arizona Lewis.

The family will receive friends at Whitley Garner Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, as well as Sunday, March 1 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Bible Church of God 6330 Washington St, Union City, GA 30291 Monday, March 2 at 12:00 pm. Committal services will take place at Northview Cemetery 71 Woodall Rd, Cedartown, GA 30125.
