Mrs. Christine D. Alexander, age 89, of Douglasville, GA passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017. She was born January 27, 1928. Mrs. Alexander worked for the Environmental Protection Agency for many years. She enjoyed reading and adored her dogs, treating them as her children. Christine loved spending time with her friends and family and had a heart of gold.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Alexander and her parents, Clifford and Jennie Alexander, nieces Donna Amerson and June Maxwell as well as nephew Rick Elrod.
Surviving her is her sister Marvine Harden; niece Sherry Lee and family; nephews Jackie Camp and Dumont Camp and families as well as great other nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1 o’clock pm. A memorial service will be held in the Rosehaven Chapel immediately following at 2 o’clock pm.
