Mr. Corey “Shawn” Council, age 53, of Winston, GA passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He was born October 19, 1962 in Atlanta, GA. Shawn loved Elvis and was a kind soul who never met a stranger. He participated in Special Olympics.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Melba Council; brother, Scott Council and wife Wyndee; niece, Sydnee Council; and the Williams Family, Burgess Family and Sewell Family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Reverend Mike Mallory officiating.
