Gregory "Scotty" Scott Argo

Gregory Scott Argo, age 57, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021. He was born August 19, 1963 in Austell, Georgia. Gregory was the love of his wife’s life and wore his heart on his sleeve. He was one of the best men you could ever meet. An exceptionally talented man, Gregory could build or fix anything. He loved making people laugh and was known to be a smart aleck. In his spare time, he loved going to the river to fish, spending time at the lake, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved watching the races on TV and was a fan of Dale Earnhardt. Gregory also enjoyed working in his yard and was proud of having the best looking yard on the street.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Luther Eugene and Gloria Jean (Reynolds) Argo; uncles, Olen Argo, Ronnie Argo, Lindye Argo and Frank Argo; and his aunt, Dolene.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 36 years, Kelly (Starnes) Argo; children, Jamey (Traci) Argo, Jay (John Watts) Argo, Brandi Argo (Peanut Thompson) and Joni Argo; two brothers, Dexter Argo and Grant (Angie) Argo; two sisters, Debbie (Dale Marby) Argo and Tammie (Michael) Jones; grandchildren, Dylan Argo, Nathan Bell, Evan Knowles, Caden Argo, J.D. Argo, Leanna Argo, Shelby Watts, Brandon Argo, Kylie Morris, Phoenix Morris, Jacie Morris, Holden Morris and Harlee Morris.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life Service at Spirit Life Church of God in Powder Springs for a later date. Information will be updated when available.
