Hiram was born in Dover, Delaware on August 10, 1957 the son of the late Hezzie William Graves and the late Gwendolyn Turnage Graves. He was an avid fan of LSU sports and the Saints. Hiram also had a love of the game of golf and enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his daughter, Alison Marie Gregory, son, Justin Shane Graves, brother, Jason Graves, sister, Rachelle Graves, grandchildren, William Daniels, Ian Floersch and Adam Graves.
There will be a private graveside service in the spring.
