Jane M. Huey

Mrs. Evelyn Jane Milam Huey, age 73, of Douglasville, GA passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She was born February 12, 1942 in Tucker, GA. Jane was a devoted wife and business partner. She loved being a mother, grandmother and a sister, and she was very generous and concerned about others. Jane enjoyed playing cards, Yahtzee, traveling, walking and she loved Elvis. She was a member of Douglasville First United Methodist Church.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Montrie Dorsett Milam; and two sisters, Patricia Milam Jarrell and Dorothy Milam Skinner.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James “Jim” Huey; daughter, Toni Gilpin and husband Thomas; sons, D. Alan Camp and wife Helen, Arlen Huey and wife Pam, and Rex Huey; devoted sister, JoAnn Milam Albertson; grandchildren, Melissa Brumbelow Noren, Danielle Gilpin Jiles, David O. Camp, Benjamin R. Dangar, Matthew Huey, Jill Huey Lopez, Bryan Huey and Austin Huey; great-grandchildren, Tinley Jiles, Tatum Jiles, William Huey, Dylan Huey, Madison Huey, Lauren Huey, Olivia Huey, Alex Noren and Javier Lopez; special niece, Brandy Schofill Turner; many nieces, nephews, as well as other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Dr. John Pennington officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
