John Joseph Bravy, age 81, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023. He was born October 30, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York. A kind and gentle man, John loved his family and was the happiest when he was spending time with them. He loved his children, and especially his grandchildren. Holidays were always special to John and he treasured getting to spend holidays with his loved ones. He had a great sense of humor and was known to be a “fountain of useless knowledge”. An avid sports fan, he loved the Atlanta Braves, but the Detroit teams – the Tigers and Lions were always near and dear to his heart.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Grace Bravy.
John was a beloved husband of 57 years to Carol and a devoted father and grandfather. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 in the Rosehaven Chapel at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest at West Georgia Memorial Park in Carrollton, Georgia following the service.
