Mr. Julian Glover Nichols, age 92, of Lithia Springs, formerly of Atlanta, GA, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015. A World War II Veteran, he was a recipient of the Purple Heart and Oak Leaf Cluster for wounds he received in the invasion of Normandy.
Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Marjorie “Margie” McCormick Nichols.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Judy Nichols White and Richard White of Lithia Springs, GA; granddaughter, Trisha White Smith, her husband Eric and their children, Bella, Leighton and Collier; granddaughter, Shannon White Pierce, her husband Doug and their children, Caroline and Tate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel.
