

She was born in Lafayette, Georgia on December 10, 1935, the daughter of the late Mr. John Goodman Adams and Mrs. Ada Culberson Adams.
Julie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife who centered her life around her family. She poured her heart into creating a loving, nurturing home, dedicating herself fully to her role as a homemaker. Every moment spent with her family was a moment she cherished, whether it was tending to her beautiful garden, enjoying sunny days at the beach, or sharing quiet movie nights filled with laughter and warmth. Her love for her family was the foundation of her life, and she was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. Her unwavering support, kindness, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband J. L. Harding; her son, Randy Harding and her siblings, John “Nim” Adams, James Columbus Adams, Odell Manning, James Floyd Adams, and Johnny Adams.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Wanda and Tim Wilson, Shirley Mitchell, Vickie Harding, Michael Harding; siblings Magnolia Renfroe, Sarah “Janie” Dill, Harold and Linda Adams and Jessie and Tammy Adams; grandchildren, Kristie Sosebee, Chris and Megan Whitmarsh. Joshua Sutton, Megan Sutton, Annie Mitchell, Lainey Mitchell, Wayne Roberts, and Lee Roberts; and her great-grandchildren, Emily Sosebee, Lindsey Sosebee, Dylan Sosebee, Macey Sosebee, Elli Whitmarsh, Jud Whitmarsh, Landon Sutton, Nova Roberts, and Amelia Roberts.
The family will receive friends at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 8, from 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rev. Tommy Young officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Douglasville City Cemetery with the following gentleman serving as pallbearers: Chris Whitmarsh, Joshua Sutton, Wayne Roberts, Doug Adams, Ryan Breving and Kenneth Roberts.
