Michael Burl Everritt, age 64, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was born June 17, 1959 in Phenix City, Alabama. Michael was a loving father and brother. He loved family get-togethers and camping. Michael loved the outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting, boating and fishing—especially bass and crappie. He enjoyed photography. Michael worked at the Villa Rica Walmart years ago in the Produce Department. He had the opportunity to transfer and work in different departments before becoming a store manager.
He was preceded in death by his father, Acie Burl Everritt; mother; Joy (Shiver) Maus; and stepfather, Larry Maus.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael Burl Everritt II (Melanie) of Tampa, Florida; sister, Cathy Dinning and Susan Campbell (Lynn); two grandchildren; uncle, Leonard Shiver; as well as several nieces and nephews.
