Michael William Landers

Mr. Michael William Landers, age 60, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019. He was born on November 24, 1958 in Otsego, NY. Michael was very involved in the Boy Scouts and served as a Scout Leader. He also was part of OA, a branch of the Boy Scouts dedicated to conducting ceremonies for Boy Scouts who are initiated into the Eagle Scouts. He loved his children and grandchildren. He was a good father, grandfather, and friend. Michael was always ready to help. He had a big heart and was an all-around great man.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kathleen Landers; his parents, David and Sally Landers; his step-children, Randall Douglas and Melissa (John) Pruitt; his siblings, Daniel, Jeffrey, Lisa, Jewel, and Susan; his grandchildren, Logan Douglas, Austin Farr, Jason Pruitt, Jacob Pruitt, Gabriella Fowler, and Amber Pruitt; his great-grandbabies, Grayson and Jace Cole; and numerous other loved ones, family, and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Rosehaven Chapel with Jeremy Davis officiating. Following the service, in accordance with Michael’s wishes, he will be cremated.
