She was born on August 29, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Nathaniel and Doris Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephews; Cameron Ali Carroll and Naeem Jihad Moore.
Monica's early education was rooted in St. Louis where she attended Rittenour High School. She went on to further her education at St. Louis University, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications in hopes of pursuing her dream of a career in broadcasting/camera operation in St. Louis. She moved to Atlanta 30 years ago to continue pursuing her dream. She worked for Ford Autonation in Lithia Springs, Georgia until she retired. She had a love for music and could sing like her favorite artists, Aretha Franklin and Phyllis Hyman. Monica enjoyed swimming in her leisure time.
She is survived by her sisters; Sheila Carroll, Natalie Moore, and Leslie Davis, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Friedens Cemetery and Mausoleum, 8941 N. Broadway, St. Louis, Missouri 63137 on March 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
