Jackie was born into a large, loving, and close-knit family, whose warmth and care helped shape the kind and generous woman she became. She cherished spending time outdoors, whether it was tending to her garden, cutting the grass, or soaking in the beauty of nature around her. A lover of the open road, Jackie found joy in driving and the independence it gave her throughout her life.
She dedicated ten years of her life as a bus driver for Douglas County Schools, where her presence and warm spirit made a lasting impact on the students and staff she served. Jackie retired with fond memories of the children whose lives she touched each day.
She will be remembered for her gentle strength, her love of the simple things, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, of over 25 years, Clarence Shaw; son, Mickey McFarland; parents, Luther Englett and Ethel (Camp) Englett. Siblings, Jean Hobbie, Hoyt Englett and Billy Englett and granddaughter, Jeannie Seaman.
