Patricia Petersen, age 83, of Tyrone, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024. A native of Georgia, Patricia was born on August 30, 1941 in Covington, and had just celebrated her 83rd birthday. She graduated from Crawford Long Nursing School and then proudly served her country as a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where she served eight years as a nurse and was married to a Captain. Patricia enjoyed riding horses. She attended West End Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Captain Richard Petersen; her parents, Lucius and Nellie (Jay) Tucker; and brother, Dennis Tucker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Richard Tucker; as well as numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
No services are planned at this time.
