Redia Ann Donaldson

Mrs. Redia Ann Donaldson, age 65, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, December 22, 2017. She was born on April 26, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia. She loved to travel, with her favorite pool being the Harborside Pool at Paradise Island. She also loved the Bahamas, Aruba, Maui, Honolulu, Cancun, Paris, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Puerto Vallarta, and the Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas. Mrs. Donaldson served as the Treasurer of the Democratic Party in Douglas County, as well as serving on the Election Committee. She was a member of two political committees for the State of Georgia. Her 31 year career spanned 10 years with Florida Power and Light, 10 years with Prudential Re-insurance in New Jersey, concluding with 11 years as a Business Analyst with Delta. Mrs. Donaldson was preceded in death by her father, James Moore. She is survived by her beloved husband, Rene Donaldson; her mother, Wilma Jean Moore; sisters, Darrlyne Dickson, Constance Davis and Brenda Kay Cooper; as well as other family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel.
