

Ruben Michael Torres, age 25, of Winston, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024. He was born September 5, 1998 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Ruben was an academic achiever and hard worker. He put all of his effort into his studies. Ruben participated in Special Olympics in Connecticut, achieving 1st and 2nd place medals in swimming. Ruben enjoyed yardwork, being outside and helping around the house. Ruben loved collecting Transformers, bowling, baseball, football and watching wrestling. In his spare time, he loved listening to a variety of music.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathleen Golding.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Michelle Golding; father, Monserrate Torres, Jr.; stepfather, Matthew Stover; brother, Jacob Segarra; grandparents, Edward J. Golding, Jr., Georgina Torres, and Monseratte Torres, Sr.; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for Friday, June 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel. Following the service, everyone is invited to a reception in the Legacy Room. Ruben’s desire was to be inurned next to his Grandmother in the Rosehaven Mausoleum.
