Mr. William “Bill” Edward Morgan, age 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was born in Columbus, Georgia on January 18, 1943, the son of the late Lawrence William Morgan and the late Nellie Louise Byrd Morgan. He was a retired Toll Technician with AT&T. He was a member of the Yaarab Shrine and the Douglasville Masonic Lodge #289 F.&A.M.
He is survived by his step daughter-in-law, Gail Duncan; step-son, Mark W. (Mamie) Duncan; step grandchildren: Sabrina Duncan, Kyle (Valerie) Duncan, Justin (Tori) Duncan, and Hayden Duncan; step-great grandchildren: Georgia Duncan and Clark Duncan; and sister-in-law, Gail (Kelly) McGraw.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances Queen Morgan; his brother, Jack Bevins; and his step-son, Glenn Duncan.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia with Mr. Joe Fowler officiating.
