Harold G. Mahlon Sr.

He was born on November 11, 1937 in Grampian, the son of the late Clarence and Helen (Friedline)Mahlon. On February 3, 1960 he married Ethel “Janie” Mahlon.

Harold graduated from DuBois Area High School in 1956. He was employed by Jackson China, APM and the DuBois Cleaning Company.

He was a member of the Rockton Church of the Brethren.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Harold is survived by his five children: Juanita and her husband James Crosswhite of Vernon, TX, Harold Mahlon Jr. and his wife Cathy of Chestnut Grove, Scott and his wife Susan Mahlon of Reynoldsville, Tammy and her husband Jeffery Wyant of Rockton and Helen Marie and her husband Edward Dunworth of Rockton; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and a brother, Roy (Wilma) Mahlon of Grampian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Geraldine Walburn and infant sister Bonnie Jean Mahlon.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. with Tim Britton officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held from 10:00am until the hour of service on Friday.
