Isabelle D. Smith Meloni

She was born on August 27, 1924 in DuBois, the daughter of the late Anthony Jernest and Sarah Glace.

She was a graduate of Coudersport Area High School and was employed by Town and Country and retired from Montgomery Ward.

Isabelle was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary for 40+ years, The Little R Club and worked the election boards. She enjoyed being with her family and traveling.

She is survived by her husband Robert Meloni of DuBois, two children: Bonnie A. and her husband John Kuntz of Stump Creek, PA and Ronald L. and his wife Diane Smith of Lancaster, PA; a brother, Bill Glace; seven grandchildren: Ryan, Randy, Rick, Nicole, Brian, Michael and Dennis and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by three step-children: Gary Meloni of Force, PA, Larry Meloni of Burndale, PA and Connie Meloni of St. Mary’s.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Donald M. Smith Sr., a son, Donald M. Smith Jr., a brother, James Glace and a sister, Ann Flick.

Family and friends will be received from 3:00pm until the hour of service on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00pm on Friday at the funeral home, with Rev Melissa Kraus officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
