Kathleen R Woods

Kathleen R. (Kinney) Woods, 67, of DuBois, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Dean Allen Woods, Sr., whom she married on February 24, 1962 and passed away on May 4, 1990.

Born in Buffalo, NY on February 6, 1944, she was a daughter of the late George and Virginia Kinney.

Mrs. Woods was employed with Clear Haven Nursing Home as a nurse’s aid until 1988.

She enjoyed crafts, needle point, crocheting and loved to read.

Survive by three children; Dean Woods, Jr. of West Decatur, Candace L. Coccimiglio and her husband, Robert of Treasure Lake and Russell G. Woods and his wife, Sherry of West Decatur; and four grandchildren, Shawna and Shelby Woods and Tricia and Rob Coccimiglio.

Also surviving is a sister, Rosanne Couto of Florida.

Mrs. Woods is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a grandson, Dustin Woods.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel with Rev. John White officiating. Burial will be in Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 2 to 4:00pm and 7 to 9:00pm. An additional viewing will be on Saturday from 10:00am until the hour of service.
