Robert O Lee

Born in DuBois on October 30, 1917, he was a son of the late Robert Ernest and Annie Marshall Lee. Robert joined the Army in 1942 and was part of the Military Police. After returning from the service, he married Lillian Askey. She preceded him in death in 1994.

Robert was a hard working man that ran the family farm. He was a member of the Luthersburg United Methodist Church.

Robert is survived by two sons, Robert E. Lee of DuBois and Richard A. Lee and his wife Barbara of Punxsutawney; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving is his sister, Betty Swope and her husband, Reed of DuBois.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lillian, and a son, Michael Lee.

A funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Sunday at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, DuBois with Rev. Richard Howe officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 4 to 8:00pm and on Sunday from 1:00pm until the time of service. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
