Ruth A. Ferguson

Ruth A. Ferguson, 91 of DuBois, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at the DuBois Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late William M. Ferguson who passed away on July 15, 2008 after 68 years of marriage.

Born January 4, 1922 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mabel (Allen) and Edwin Overdorf.

Ruth was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, DuBois.

Surviving are two sons: William Ferguson and his wife Diane, Scottsdale, AZ; Richard Ferguson, Dallas TX; 2 grandchildren: Steven Ferguson and wife Lisa, Plainfield IL; Patty Litterio and husband Victor, Aurora, IL; also three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters: Florence Dunlap, Betty Bucksbee; and four brothers: George, William, James and John Overdorf.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ruth A. Ferguson will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc., 142 W. Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801, with Pastor Tim Connor Officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.

A time to share memories with the family and have an opportunity to view will be Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, until the time of service at the funeral home.
