Virginia Lowe

Born on November 4, 1924 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Beryl(Wineberg) Foster. She was married to William Lowe, who survives.

She retired as the Office Assistant for Dr. W.E. Grill, for whom she worked for 34 years.

Mrs. Lowe was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Good Samaritan Circle, Mt. Zion Women, Asbury Sunday School Class, Young at Heart Group and DuBois Senior Center.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mildred Chittester, of DuBois and a brother, Robert Foster also of DuBois. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Eileen Lowe and Harriet Good, an infant sister; and a brother John Foster.

Funeral services will be held at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. DuBois on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11Am with Pastor Ron Lindahl officiating. Burial will be at Morningside Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc of Friday, March 25, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9PM and additional viewing will be held on Saturday from 10Am until the time of service.

Memorial donations can be made in her honor to: Mt. Zion Methodist Church, DuBois Senior Center or DRMC-Hospice Unit.
