Adeline Jo Hammond

Adeline came into the world early and stole everyone’s hearts. Although only 32 weeks and 3.5lbs at birth, Adeline was awake and thriving immediately, even getting some cuddles in the delivery room before heading to the NICU. Tiny in size but big at heart, she had the sweetest smile, wide blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair, and brought joy to everyone who met her. Her memory will live on through her parents, her twin, and her proud big brother who called her “my baby.”

She is survived by her parents, Amanda and Jon, older brother Jackson, twin sister Olivia, grandparents Dwight and Peggy (Holcomb) and Edward and Pamela (Hammond), uncles and aunts Chad (Morgan) and Tyler (Danika) Holcomb, and Christie (AJ) Hall, Rachel (Derrik) Young, and Emily (Logan) Smith, as well as many loving cousins, extended family, and friends.

The Hammond Family wants to extend the greatest appreciation to the NICU teams at Riverside Methodist, Saint Ann’s, and Nationwide Children’s Hospitals. Additional thanks to Nationwide Children’s Hospice who allowed us precious time at home together.

Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017, on Thursday, October 9, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
