Barbara J. Foltz

Barbara J Foltz, 87, passed away peacefully January 29, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born September 26, 1934 in Massillon, Ohio the daughter of Reese and Viola Price. Barb was a proud graduate of Warren G Harding high School's class of 1952 where she made and maintained lifelong friendships. She spent most of her life in Trumbull County until moving to Dublin, Ohio earlier last year to be closer to her family.

Barbara retired from Packard Electric in 1989 where she worked as an electrical inspector, it was there she met and married the love of her life Bill Foltz. Together they enjoyed a lifelong passion for golf, travel and spending time with family and friends. Some of her most cherished memories were created in St. Petersburg, Florida where they spent winters together. The couple enjoyed 30 years of marriage until his passing in 2004.

People say" Babbs" never met a stranger. No matter where she was or who she encountered, the unsuspecting soul would find themselves in a lively, spirited conversation that they would not soon forget.

Barb was also a devoted grandmother to her grandson Michael with whom she shared a very special bond. Whether it was on the beach, trekking through Europe, attending many of his sporting events or playing games at the kitchen table, spending time with her Mike was high on the list.

Barbara will be sadly missed by her daughter Joyce and son in law Randy Monfredi of Dublin, Ohio; Grandson Michael, his wife Dr. Monica Monfredi of Hilliard, Ohio; and her great granddaughters Clara and Stella Monfredi. She also leaves her brother Joel Price and his wife Carleen of San Juan Capistrano, California; sister in law Janet Price of Williamsburg, Virginia; and her nieces and nephews. In addition, Barb will be deeply missed by her devoted friends and neighbors Kathy and Bill Bohach and Jeff Cline.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill; son John R. Baiduc Jr.; brothers Colonel Richard R. Price , Thomas M. Price; and nephew Kenneth R. Price.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at Hartford Hill Winery, Fowler, Ohio from 11AM-4PM on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
