November 22, 1932 – September 19, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cecilia North (D’Souza) of Dublin, Ohio, who peacefully entered the loving arms of the Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
Born to Walter and Elizabeth D’Souza on November 22, 1932, Cecilia was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by love, laughter, and compassion. She touched the hearts of all who knew her and was a beloved member of her community. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering faith.
Cecilia was a devoted mother and wife, always present when her family needed her most. She provided unconditional support, wisdom, and love, serving as a source of strength during even the most challenging times. Her faith guided her, and through it, she inspired those around her to face life’s trials with grace.
As a dedicated wife, Cecilia stood faithfully by the side of her beloved husband, Lance, through life’s joys and difficulties. Their love was a testament to their enduring bond, and she made countless sacrifices for her family, never seeking anything in return.
Cecilia was named after Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of music, and true to her name, she was deeply involved in both her church and its music. She played the organ while her husband, Lance, served as music director. Cecilia took great pride in her family and started her own business to support them. Through her business, she welcomed, cared for, and loved all who came to her. Her generosity, kindness, and compassion touched many lives.
Cecilia’s legacy is one of selflessness and unconditional love. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.
Mom, we miss you. Your tenderness and loving ways continue to guide us through our days. The invaluable lessons you taught us will be treasured for a lifetime. Though we cannot have you with us, we take comfort in knowing that the angels have finally welcomed you home. Farewell to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother.
