Evelyn Jean Janis

She graduated from East High School in Cleveland, Ohio, and worked as a make-up artist for Lancome at Dillard’s. She was a member of St. Brigid’s of Kildare Catholic Church in Dublin, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Janis, and her brother Thomas Regal, Jr. She is survived by daughters Deborah Janis and Diane Lavelle; grandchildren Kelly Lavelle and Jennifer Lavelle-Matt (Stephen Matt); great-grandchildren Maya Lavelle-Matt and Nori Lavelle-Matt; sisters Danis Regal and Dorsey Regal (Ron Fierstein); as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 9571 N. High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017, with a reception from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. after the service.
