Gerald Edward Wolfinger

Gerald Edward Wolfinger, age 90, passed away at his residence in Powell, OH with family by his side on Monday, November 27, 2023. Gerald was a proud sergeant of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a SOHIO dealer, Past President of Central Ohio Gasoline Association (COGDA), Owner of Clintonville Auto Radiator & Electric (C.A.R.E), usher at St. Anthony for 30 years, current member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, member of Oakhurst Country Club in Grove City, and past president of Stonebridge HOA for 10 years.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Carol L. Wolfinger; 5 brothers, 2 sisters; and his stepson, Sam Puccio, Jr. Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Luetta “Lou” of 21 years; children, Teresa (Kevin) Coady, Tony Wolfinger, Tammy (Ralph) Polletta, Andy (Cathi) Wolfinger; stepchildren, Penny (Brian) Hall, Jody (Tim) Johnston, Scott (Stacy) Puccio; brother, Tom (Iris) Wolfinger; sister, Nancy Grove; sister-in-law, Jeanie Wolfinger; step daughter-in-law, Tracy Puccio, and many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friend at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN, 5980 Perimeter Dr. Dublin, OH 43017, Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, 11 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2023 at St. Joan of Arc, 10700 Liberty Rd, Powell OH 43065, with interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
