Harry L. Shultz

Harry Leroy Shultz, aged 80, passed peacefully March 11, 2024. Known to his family as Lee, he was born to Dean L. and Ettarose Charlton Shultz on August 28, 1943 in Dennison, Ohio. A graduate of Pleasant View High School class of 1962, Lee went on to proudly serve in the Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. A lifelong resident of Ohio, he became a highly skilled electrician and retired from Rockwell International in 2006. Lee enjoyed reading science fiction and discussing history and politics. He had many beloved cats over the years and enjoyed keeping an eye on neighborhood wildlife. A fiercely independent homeowner, Lee lived alone until the age of 78. Transitioning to assisted living, he settled in quickly and made several new friends. He was the oldest of eight siblings and has a huge extended family. Lee is survived by daughter, Patti Smith, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, six siblings and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 18, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
