Herbert C. Stohr, age 95, peacefully passed away on July 26, 2024. He was the cherished husband of Eva-Maria Stohr (née Graf), who predeceased him. Herbert was a devoted father to Heidi Cramb (John Hamacher) and Erich (Wendy) Stohr. He was a beloved grandfather to Amy, Katie, Ryan (Caroline), and Tyler, and a treasured great-grandfather to Nora, Madelyn, and Maya.
Herbert honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and is proudly recognized in the Smithsonian Institution for his role in designing the 912 copier for Xerox Corporation. In his retirement, Herbert and Eva relished traveling the world together.
Service will be held at Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Services, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, OH 43017 at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday July 30, 2024. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Church, 5475 Brand Road, Dublin, OH 43017. Following the service, light refreshments will be provided at the Stohr residence.
