Linda Lou Anderson

Linda was born on October 14, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio. She was a devoted mother, cherished Mama, and a compassionate nurse who dedicated 25 years of service to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Caring for others was not just her profession, but her calling.

A proud Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Linda found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved moments shared with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Ruthie, who was always close by her side.

Linda is survived by her loving children: Heidi (KC) Hickman, Sherri (Jeff) Elliott, Bill Anderson, and Gena (Chris) Tobias. She was a deeply proud grandmother to Ryan (Amanda) Hickman, Ashton (Matt) Foster, Drew Orton, Zach Hickman, Dakota Hickman, Ross Elliott, Kendall Elliott (Mahlon), Theodore Tobias, and Benjamin Tobias. She was also blessed with nine adored great-grandchildren: Caleb, Caiden, Ryan Jr., Sarah, Gabriel, Brayden, Selah, Henry, and Noah.

She is also survived by her special friends Gene and Elaine Anderson, along with many extended family members of the Anderson and Lloyd families, and her faithful companion, Ruthie.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy (Bud) Hall; her father, David Lloyd; and her siblings, Donald (Sandy) Lloyd and John (Debbie) Lloyd.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., with a service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017.

Linda’s kindness, strength, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
