

A loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Marilyn was beloved by all who knew her. Her kindness and joyful heart left a mark that will never fade.
Marilyn was pre-deceased by parents Cesare and Virgina, her brother Wayne, and her first husband Richard. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Andy Trux, sons Eric and Mark, their wives, five grandchildren, plus first cousins Polly and Ellen, and a number of life-long friends.
Marilyn graduated from Brookhaven High School, attended Ohio State University and was part of the first class to live in the Towers. She later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Otterbein College and after a career in the corporate world, she ran her own successful bookkeeping business.
Marilyn, a 25-year cancer survivor, was active in giving back to the community, attending cancer support groups and volunteering for Arthritis Foundation Central Ohio Chapter, Brookhaven reunions, Mid-Ohio Region PCA, Scioto Sports Car Club, and SPOHNC, among others.
Marilyn loved to travel, especially taking trips to California to visit her sons and the grandchildren she so dearly adored. Among her favorite vacations was flying with her mother on the inaugural flight of the Concorde from Columbus, Ohio to London, England and returning on the Queen Elizabeth II. Marilyn and Andy also enjoyed cruises of the Greek Isles, the Caribbean, and windjammer cruises off the coast of Maine.
In her vibrant life filled with love and family, Marilyn touched countless hearts and will be deeply missed by all.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, OH 43017. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Dublin Cemetery, 83 W. Bridge Street, Dublin, OH 43017.
