Richard “Dick” Arthur Armstrong, 92, of Dublin, Ohio passed away on August 1, 2025. He was born on April 19, 1933, in Saginaw, Michigan to Everett and Pauline Armstrong. Richard graduated from Saginaw Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, Michigan.

Michigan was home to Richard and his wife, Bev for 84 years and it was there he developed a love for the outdoors, the lakes, and the beautiful seasons. He was always the happiest being outside listening to the birds, watching nature and chatting with friends and family. This was especially so at Wiggins Lake in Gladwin, Michigan. He loved being on the lake and was always happiest watching his extended family create memories of a lifetime on the lake.
His wife Bev was by his side as his loving and caring companion for 66 years. Richard was a devoted husband and the proud father of four children, a wonderful grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Richard’s legacy was his kindness, optimism and positivity. He embraced all of life’s challenges with patience, understanding, and positivity. Family was everything to Richard and he was a wonderful listener and loved to learn and talk especially about Women’s sports and University of South Carolina basketball and the Michigan State Spartans. Whomever met Richard would immediately feel important and connected to and this was so evident the past 8 years at Sunrise Assisted Living where he quickly became loved by so many staff.
