My deepest condolences to the Kuraly family. Rick was Miami Hockey. He was a fearless competitor and skillful player. I was blessed to watch him play while I was at Miami, back when Goggin had bleacher seats and a third of the capacity of the arena today. Miami Hockey was just in its infancy and everything great that came in later years was because of players like Rick.  Rest in peace Rick. Love and Honor.

I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing.  Rick and I worked together in New England and the Midwest for Measurex Systems.  I have very fond memories of traveling to paper mills with him.  Our customers always enjoyed his ever present smile and sense of humor, as did I.

Rick was my friend. We had some great times and shared so many laughs. I will certainly miss him. I always admired him for his willingness to share his time and knowledge with others.  Rick knew hockey and he coached so many kids. I’m guessing Rick coached somewhere north of 20 hockey teams. Rick helped those kids become better hockey players and I can only imagine how many are better people because of Coach Rick. RIP my friend!

I lived on the same floor with Rick during our Freshman year at Miami. One of the friendliest people on the floor and super sharp. He was taking physics and engineering. I enjoyed my visits with him and watching him play hockey through his career at Miami.

I worked with Rick and he always had an amazing sense of humor, he was fair and good person. Hope God gives peace to your heart and light to your days remembering that he will always be by your side.

I knew Rick from work from the past two years. We met a few times in person and traveled to visit customers together. He left a big impression in me with his warm an helpful character. My condolences to his family.

Rick was a great friend and mentor.  We worked together for many years between Measurex and Honeywell.  I will miss our discussions.  Rick was truly one of the great guys at Honeywell and will be missed every day.  My Condolences.  - Mick

Seeing this brings much sadness to me. Great friend, teammate and a wonderful person. We spoke years ago and caught up we were talking about hockey and our kids.. like Rick my boys are the center of my universe we shared those feelings as well. I want to send my thoughts and prayers to Rick and his family. A great person a hell of hockey player and a wonderful friend . Rest in peace.

I have known Rick since he started back with Honeywell in 2019.  He was the sales guy and I was his technical support.  But it was more than that.  We became very good friends along the way.  We talked about sports (hockey and golf), life in the south, getting older, as well as strategies for chasing down business.  It was always enjoyable to work with Rick.  He had a tremendous amount of energy to devote to his accounts and treated everyone like his best friend.  Despite living on the beach in Pensacola, I know he missed Ohio and his boys up there.  I don't know what to say about his passing, except that I am truly saddened and I will miss him.  I know his boys had a great father and his brother a great sibling, and I wish the best for all of you.

So sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He was wonderful to work with when I was with Measurex in the Northeast. Always supportive, always had a smile.

If you ever had the privilege of walking into the Kuraly home, you’d quickly realize that hockey wasn’t just a game—it was a way of life. It was clear that Coach Rick passed his love for the game on to Chris, Sean, and Nicky. I took up hockey because of him, and I know I’m not the only one. Rick coached most of our teams from the time I was five until I was eighteen. His passion for teaching and growing the game will have a lasting impact on Central Ohio hockey for generations to come.

Coach Rick and the Kuraly family have always felt like an extension of my own. On behalf of the Geswein family, I want to thank Rick for the lasting impact he had on our lives and for all the incredible memories we shared. He will be deeply missed.

So sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. I had the good fortune to meet Rick only a few times, share a round of golf, and our passion for hockey. His passion for his family came through loud and clear. My deepest condolences to the family.

Deepest condolences to the Kuraly family.  Rick had many friends at Humberside Collegiate in Toronto. His humour, kindness and warmth will live on in our memories.

It was so much fun playing on the same volleyball and basketball teams with Rick. A great competitor and teammate !

I had the privilege of working alongside Rick on numerous occasions. He consistently demonstrated deep appreciation for the work and for those around him. His sense of responsibility and integrity were unwavering, and he was truly an exceptional individual. I carry him in my heart and will never forget him.
