

Smith is lovingly held in the hearts of his adoring parents, Brandon and Kelly Slatcoff, and big sister Carter. He will be forever cherished by his family, including his grandparents, John Pfau, Michael and Anita Burch, Kathy Rivera, and Wilson and Jill Rivera; his great grandparents John and Cookie Slatcoff; his aunts and uncles Brian (Melanie) Pfau, Michael (Melanie) Pfau, Brooke Rivera, Kaela (Matt) Hobart, Marcus Rivera and Kailyn (Cody) Truxall; and cousins Caroline, Lexie, Juliana, Koen, Evelyn, Shane, Sawyer, Lincoln, Barrett, Tate, Carson and Mason. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Diane Pfau. Along with his loving family, Smith was embraced by an amazing circle of friends, each one holding his memory in their hearts.
His family was not prepared to lose sweet Smith so soon but in his short time here, Smith brought immense joy to all those around him. His amazing smile was a constant source of light and love in their lives and could make any day better. His smile and memory will forever remain in their hearts and minds.
The Slatcoff family would like to extend sincere thanks to the incredible team at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, whose unwavering dedication, expertise and compassion gave them strength and will always be remembered with deep appreciation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Schoedinger Dublin; 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017 on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
