

Wilma F. White, age 99, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing. She was born on January 15, 1926, in New York City to the late Vito and Paula Franco. She grew up in Astoria, NY and graduated from Julia Richman High School with the class of 1944. She lived in The Bronx, NY until 1975 when she moved to New Jersey for 15 years before settling in Dublin, Ohio, in 1990. Wilma was a proud supporter and member of the Girl Scouts, Clintonville Woman’s Club and a member of Worthington Presbyterian Church. She loved gardening, butterflies, sewing, crafting, watching figure skating and listening to opera. At the Clintonville Woman’s Club, she was active in the Buds to Bouquets, Handcraft, and Photography groups. She also served as the “Sunshine Lady,” sending care cards to members in need of support.
She is survived by her two children, Carol White of Minneapolis, MN, and Jeff (Diane) White of Lewis Center, and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Willard, parents Vito and Paula and beloved cat Rosie.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed immediately by a service at 1:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017. A private burial at Dublin Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Worthington Presbyterian Church or Clintonville Women’s Club.
