Jackie E. Mitchell

He was born April 8, 1929 in Thompson, Iowa to James and Olive Mitchell. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Signal Corps. After the service Jack returned to Duluth and worked as a plumber. He was a lifetime member of the Plumbers and Fitters Local 11.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Kathryn Webb and JoAnn Mitchell; a brother, Roger Mitchell; and a nephew, Kevin Mitchell.

He is survived by his sisters, Sharon and Patricia Mitchell, of Duluth; nephew, Brian (Judy) Mitchell, of Duluth and nieces Georgianna and Coralie.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of St. Luke’s Hospital I.C.U., for their loving care of Jack.
