

Jacqueline was born October 25, 1934 in Duluth, MN to the late Jack & Miladore (Bernard) Johnson.
Jacqueline graduated from high school in 1952, she then went on to St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN and graduated March 15, 1956 with a RN Degree. Jacqueline worked for St. Mary’s in Duluth, MN, and retired after 25 years of faithful service. She helped found the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and headed it for 10 years.
Jacqueline was a devoted Catholic, she served on the board, and a was a eucharistic minister at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Jacqueline was a loving mother who was devoted to her family.
Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her children Pamela (David) Stansfield of Hermantown, MN, Scott (Kris) Shepherd of Saginaw, MN, Shelly (Scott) Burgie of Lakewood Township, MN, Craig (Natalie) Shepherd of Saginaw, MN, Lisa (Brian Johnson) Shepherd of Saginaw, MN, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, one brother Jeffrey (Sue) Johnson of The Villages of Florida.
She is preceded by one sister Gayle Nelson, February 17, 2001, and one granddaughter Emily Stansfield, July 31, 1990.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Bell Brother Funeral Home 601 North 56 Ave West, in Duluth and also from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, in Duluth Heights. Father William Fider will officiate.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Duluth, MN.
