Pam is survived by Dave, the love of her life and husband of 38 years. Pam is also survived by the two wonderful children Pam and Dave raised together: Joselyn (Patrick) Griffus of Spokane, WA and Justin, who currently resides in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Pam was born February 21, 1956 to Kenneth and Joan Danielson of Duluth, MN. Pam graduated from Denfeld High School, where she met and fell in love with her husband Dave. Dave’s career allowed Pam and the family to live and travel extensively throughout the United States and the world. Throughout the years, Pam and her family lived in many places, such as a small mining town in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, to a quant fishing village in the North of England on the Irish Sea. Wherever the family ventured, Pam formed the backbone of the family and cared for all of the family’s needs.
Pam enjoyed being a wife, mother, and friend to all she came into contact with. Pam was fun, strong, and a comfort to others. She had a vibrant outlook on life and the ability to meet challenges head-on with a positive attitude. Pam’s strong will was exemplified in the way she handled her own diagnosis of ALS in 2013. Pam’s amazing spirit and sense of humor will forever be in our hearts.
Pam was preceeded in death by both parents, Kenneth and Joan Danielson. Pam will be loved and missed by her family and friends. Heaven gained a beautiful new angel, who we look forward to meeting again in time.
The family would like to thank the Minnesota ALS Foundation, Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospice Program, and the wonderful staff at the Solvay Hospice House for their care and support during Pam's time there.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Solvay Hospice House (801 Baylis Street, Duluth, MN 55811) or the Minnesota ALS Foundation (333 N. Washington Avenue #105, Minneapolis, MN 55401).
