Patricia Patsy Ann Thompson

Pat was born in Duluth on August 15, 1935 to Andrew and Lorraine (Bergem) Bukovich. She was a 1953 Denfeld High School graduate.

In addition to being a mother and raising five children,Patsy enjoyed gardening, polka and country music, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

She was a member of Our Savior’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Frank Horgan; husband, George A. Thompson (1984) and two brothers, Gerald and James Bukovich.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie (Richard) Johnson of Kalamazoo, MI and Tammi Jo (Troy) Scandin of Sioux Falls, SD; three step-sons, Anthony (Windy) Thompson of Jacksonville, FL, Michael R. Thompson of Cottage Grove, MN, Joe Thompson of Kalamazoo, MI; her sister, Janice (Earl) Liljegren of Hermantown, MN, eleven grandchildren, Branden (Rachel) Johnson, Jenna Johnson, Tristan and Thomas Scandin, Julie Johnson, Jody (Rick) Turek, Alicia and Austin Thompson, Adam Bent, and Alexander and Haley Thompson; two great-grandchildren, Annika Johnson and Will Turek; two sisters-in-law, Rose (Randy) Hella and Ursula (Glen) Kerlen; one brother-in-law, Frank (Peggy) Thompson; several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Celebration of Life Tuesday May 18, 2010 in Our Saviors Evangelical Lutheran Church. 4831 Grand Avenue. Rev. Christine Anttila officiating. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Park, Hermantown.
