Ramona Stelmack

She was born in Duluth, April 30, 1927 to Robert M. and Ruth Sederberg. She attended Stanbrook Hall and graduated from St. Scholastica with a major in Dietetics. She was Director of Dietetics at Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital for 20 years and during that time was actively involved in numerous civic and professional organizations.

In 1971, Ramona married Vern Stelmack and they resided in Minneapolis until 1996. While in Minneapolis she was very active in the Volunteer Department and the Auxiliary of North Memorial Medical Center..

After returning to Duluth, Ramona became active in the Duluth Women’s Club, the Volunteer Department at St. Luke’s and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern in 2005.

Ramona is survived by her brother, Robert (Jeanne) Sederberg; nephews, Bruce (Brenda), Clayton (Susan) Sederberg; niece, Cynthia (Ric) Neseth; eight grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and one great grand-nephew; and two great grand-nieces.

Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Monday, March 14, in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Duluth. Interment will be in Park Hill Cemetery.
