

He graduated Class of 2000 from Marshall High School. Where he enjoyed playing football with his friends. Tom was highly intelligent. He was an excellent freelance writer, and musician. He composed his own piano music. He could also play the piano without sheet music. Tom was very charming, and was noticed by many for his beautiful blue eyes.
Thomas had a kind and gentle soul in his own way. “Tom E.” enjoyed beating his mother and brother at board games, especially Sorry. He was a very fluent trivia buff. Thomas had a definitive love for cheesy B movies as well. Thomas was loved and adored by his family pets over the years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas; brother, Edward; and Cousin, Derek.
Thomas will be greatly missed by his mother, Wendy Mrak of Proctor; brother, Nicholas (Chandra) Mrak of Duluth; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. As well as his two Dachshunds and two cats (Ruby, Dolly, Peter Pan, and Bridgett.)
The family would like to thank Essentia Health: doctors, nurses, staff, for the wonderful care and love given to Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, honorariums are preferred to Essentia Health-Amberwing, Essentia Health-Adult Behavioral Health (Miller Dwan Building) and The Human Development Center.
Visitation: 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N 56th Ave. West, Duluth. In honor of Thomas, please wear the color blue (his favorite color) to the service. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Superior.
