Charles Geoffrey Maggs 53: ‘Geoff’ passed away peacefully at Gorge Road Hospital, October 31, 2011. Geoff was born Dec 28, 1957 in Duncan, and grew up in Maple Bay with his family. Geoff worked for Canada Safeway, at various Vancouver Island locations, for more than 30 years. Geoff is survived by his only child Katelin, and his father George. Geoff was predeceased by his mother Betty and sister Thurza. Always an avid reader, in particular science fiction. In lieu of flowers please make a donation on Geoff’s behalf to the Vancouver Island Public Library, Ladysmith Branch.
Services will be held November 8, 2011 at 1 pm. Saint Peter’s Anglican Church, 5800 Church Rd, ( just off Maple Bay Rd) Duncan B.C. Refreshments to follow at MBYC.
