Joseph Clemente

Joe was born in Vancouver, B.C. at St.Paul's Hospital.

He passed away May 22, 2016 at Cowichan Hospital.

Dad was married to Grace on Aug 30, 1958 .

They stayed happily married for nearly 58 years. They had met in 1954, and have been together for 62 years. Dad was good with his hands and could build or repair just about anything. In his younger days Dad rode motorcycles and always loved tinkering with them even when he wasn't riding in his later years. He even owned a motorcycle shop in Vancouver back in the 1960's. He always loved to live on small acreages with Grace so they would have enough land and space around them to enjoy. Dad was a Body man / car painter by trade and did that for more than 4 decades before retiring. He & Mom purchased land on Salt Spring Island back in the 1970's and eventually moved there. They lived on SSI for quite a few years before retiring in Duncan where they lived at several locations before moving to their present location in the country side.

Dad always made people laugh and he had a great sense of humour.. He is survived by his loving wife Grace , son Joe and daughter Melinda. Also his older sister Mary Iaci and extended family . Dad also has several Grand children Ryan, Samantha, Trevor, Brianna & Carlee. He is predeceased by his parents and his younger sister , Norma. We will miss you dad and we will always cherish those great memories of you as a dad and our friend. Forever in our hearts.
