Charles Ingersoll

Charles H. Ingersoll passed away on May 3, 2015 at 1:30 PM as a result of a fatal heart attack. Charles moved to DeSoto, Texas with his wife and three sons in 1974. Survived by his loving wife Helen, sons Gerald and Kevin: grandchildren, Adrienne, Alicia, Sarah, Mark, Leslie, Jake: Great Grandchildren, Camryn, Marcus Jr, and Austin. His youngest son Kris, a cancer victim, passed away in January 2014. Charles grew up with his mother Ruth and two sisters Diane and Roberta during the depression. He sold newspapers at the age of 8 in downtown Dallas Texas to support the family. He served in the US Army as the Korean War ended. From there he completed a distinguished career with the US Postal Service as a Federal Fraud Investigator. During retirement, Charles ran his own private investigations firm with his son Kris. Chuck was the biggest presence in every room, the most loved father and grandfather one could have ever hoped for. He was always there for his family neighbors and friends.
